DanceReview GPDR

Who are "we"?

A single dancing obsessed developer (Thomas Engelmeier) who created this application out of enthusiasm for his own use and gifts it to you

What about privacy

I really value your privacy. Given an ad-free product without login / user account there is nothing collected about you personally or connected to your person.

However, DanceReview sends some data to fabric.io:

Crash logs

I really don't want the software to crash. If it does, I want to fix it as soon as possible. Crashlytics is a service that helps me to do so. When DanceReview is restarted after an crash, it sends an anonymous report containing "in this part of the code there is a problem".

Usage Statistics

The goal is to make DanceReview as productive as possible for everyone. I have a certain usage in mind when I write the software. Some functions may or may not be obvious, or the only one that finds it useful is me.

To get a picture if I have to adjust DanceReview to make functionality more discoverable, anonymous statistics are sent to the Answers function of fabric.io. These statistics are in the form "Screen X was displayed" without additional data. In the end I get a accumulated list how often various screens were visited across all users - e.g. searching / tagging / playing videos. Nothing to get specific information about you or your data.

Where is the collected data stored, how long, and how can I erase it?

The data is sent to http://fabric.io which complies to the GPDR. On the admin panels the aggregated data is available for 90 days. As the data is not linked to your person, it can not be extracted or specifically erased.

Have fun and enjoy DanceReview,
Thomas
